Sketch Club

Helping to launch the comedy stars of the future...

Based at the world-famous Kings Head in Crouch End, Sketch Club ran weekly on the London Fringe from 2002 to 2007, and was a much-loved part of the live comedy circuit. Originally a comedy cabaret produced by Andrew Barclay,  Bull Comedy turned the gig into a showcase for new comedy performers and writers.  Notable performers included Perrier winner Laura Solon, award-winning BBC double act Colin and Fergus, Lewin & Roy, Zoe Lyons and Clare Warde.

Special guest acts included Russell Brand, Mark Maier and on one unscheduled occasion the notorious “Comedy Terrorist” Aaron Barschak. Highlights from many Sketch Club shows were recorded and podcast on the internet.
